SharkBite Max, 1″x1″ FIP Lead-Free Straight Connector. It is made of DZR brass and certified to 250 PSI and 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Design certified to ASSE 1061/NSF61 standards and meets UPC, IPC, and CUPC requirements. Listed with IAPMO and certified for use on potable and hydronic water distribution. Underground applications and manufactured joints without access panels are also certified. Lead-free compliant to federal law 111-380. It combines innovative push-to-connect design with a standard FNPT adapter on the opposite end. Compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes, it installs without solder, glue, unions, or tools.
